Muda House, an authentic, stunning residence, positioned in a peaceful location overlooking the expansive Pru Chaweng lake and with mountain views by 2 minute to Chaweng town. Its current use is an exquisite private museum with over 5,000 years of Thai history. The owner is looking to sell the land and properties, however the ancient artifacts are not included. The location and layout would make an ideal boutique hotel.
There are three individual pavilions overlooking the lake and each pavilion are original Samui wooden houses from over 100 years ago. To the rear of each is an elaborate grey marble, open air bathroom with wc and bath. Each pavilion could be designed to make 2 bedrooms and the bathroom split into 2. Onsite is a restaurant with either indoor or outdoor eating areas, it's own vegetable patch, a large swimming pool and further buildings for conversion.
Muda House has been featured in numerous magazines including: Lonely Planet, The complete where to go "Thailand", The ultimate dream destinations - Siam Paragon, 72 hours - Amazing Thailand samui and Hop Hotels
